I find inspiration sometimes in the strangest places. About 3 years ago I was watching Sanford and Son. Lamont gives his father a birthday card and a new Stetson hat. I dont know why but the small glimpse of the lousy 70's birthday card complete with orange tassle inspired me to create my own.
